ALPHA PHI FOUNDATION

Incorporated in 1956, Alpha Phi Foundation is one of the oldest women’s fraternal foundations. Its primary philanthropic goals are supporting women’s heart health and developing women as leaders. The Foundation awards funds for programs that advance leadership development, encourage academic excellence, improve women's heart health, support sisters in need, and educate them about the value of philanthropy. The Foundation is a non-profit organization supported by contributions from individual members, collegiate and alumnae chapters, corporations, and friends. Whether directly affected by heart disease or knowing someone close to you battling the disease, the Foundation touches the lives of many worldwide. Each chapter raises funds for the Foundation through popular campus events, and in 2021–2022, collegiate chapters raised nearly $2.5 million for the Foundation.

When Alpha Phi collegiate chapters raise money for the Alpha Phi Foundation, they don’t just raise funds to advance the work of the Foundation; they aim to heighten awareness of women’s heart health through various creative and innovative activities. Whether it’s a Red Dress Event or an exciting Woofstock corgi race, Alpha Phi educates with heart. This past year, the Kappa Theta chapter raised $32,793 during our Red Dress Event.
