OUR PHI PHAMS
During the first few weeks of a new member's Alpha Phi experience, they are paired with initiated members. The new members spend time with their "Ivy Linkers" throughout these weeks to get to know their new sisters better. At the end of their Ivy Linking period, each new member is placed into a “Phi Family," including her big and, eventually, her little. After receiving a week's worth of gift baskets, the Big-Little reveal takes place and we celebrate the newest additions to our Phi families.
A LETTER FROM A LITTLE TO HER BIG
Dear Morgan,
How can I put into words how much our friendship means to me? For those who do not know Morgan Sundell, she defines what being a member of this sisterhood means. She is genuine, steadfast, intentional, and loving. Coming into college, I felt lonely and homesick, but knowing you has improved my life. In the moments where I felt the most unloveable, you made it known that there was someone in the world who cared. You constantly pour into me, and I know that I can always run to you for anything from fashion advice to wiping the tears off my face. You have to ability to light up any room, and anyone who knows your heart wants to be more like you. I could not be more blessed that you are a part of my story, and I always will cherish our school night sleepovers, lighthouse study dates, Maui adventures, and shopping excursions. You have impacted my life more than you will ever know, and you will forever be not only my big but soul-sister, future bridesmaid, biggest supporter, and best friend.
