Hi everyone! I’m Ellie Welch, and I have the joy of serving as the VP of Membership Recruitment for Alpha Phi. I’m a junior studying Speech-language pathology, and I truly can’t put into words how grateful I am to be part of a chapter that has shaped me in such a meaningful way.

When I went through recruitment, I was looking for a place where I could be fully myself—and I found that in Alpha Phi. The women here are the kind of people who celebrate you on your best days and show up for you on your hardest. They’re genuine, grounded, and so full of love. They’ve become my biggest cheerleaders, late-night laugh buddies, and constant reminders of what it means to lead with kindness.

If you’re starting this journey and are feeling all the emotions—excited, nervous, unsure—you’re not alone. Recruitment can be a whirlwind, but it’s also such a special time to lean into new friendships and find a place that feels like home. My biggest encouragement to you is to be open, trust your heart, and know that you will find where you’re meant to be.
